Lighting the Way to Recovery – Thanks to Perform Better UK

A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Perform Better UK, who’ve kindly donated Blazepod kits for children on Ward 3 at the Great North Children’s Hospital.

These clever little pods might look like toys, but they’re packed with potential helping children stay active, engaged, and motivated after their transplant. Because they’re so versatile, the physio team can tailor activities to each child, even within the safe confines of their protective bubble.

The Blazepods are fully wipeable, so they’re safe and sterile for every young patient in the Bubble, and we’ve added some extra accessories too, thanks to support from the Bubble Foundation making recovery feel more like play, and a little less like hard work!

We’re so grateful to Perform Better UK for bringing a bit more light, fun, and movement into these children’s journeys.
