If you’re arriving by train
You will arrive in Newcastle Central Station. It’s approximately a 20 minute walk to the hospital, or taxis are available. The official black cabs here have white bonnets and drivers have ID, or you can use popular mobile apps.
If you’re arriving by Nexus Metro
The closest Metro station to us is Haymarket. Haymarket has step-free access unless stated otherwise. You can check the Nexus website for updates and works. You can get the Metro directly from Newcastle airport, too.
Exit Haymarket on Percy Street
Head over the road towards the university
Continue walking straight through the courtyards until you see the hospital.
Once you’re at the hospital.
Upon arriving at the hospital, enter through the large revolving door, ensuring space ahead and behind you so the doors don’t halt. Head straight to Ward 3. This is on Floor 4 via the elevators on the right. Upon reaching Floor 4 via the elevator, make three right turns, press the buzzer for Ward 3, and they will be expecting you.
