Organise a workplace fundraiser

Your workplace can help children with severe immune disorders receive essential medical and emotional care. By fundraising, you enable better treatments and research advancements while fostering a shared commitment to community impact. See a range of ways you can get involved below.

Volunteering professional skills

Did you know our very own logo was donated to us? As was our previous website. If you feel like you or your team could help donate your skills or help us with a project please get in touch. Unfortunately because of the nature of Ward 3, we cannot allow volunteering on the Ward itself.

Match-funding

Did you know your company may offer a match funding initiative if you undertake some fundraising for charity? As your HR team or boss if they do. If you are a business owner then you can have a look into setting this up and discover the financial benefits.

Sponsorships and partnerships

Sponsoring our charity directly improves the lives of children with severe immune disorders by providing life-saving care and support. It also boosts your organisation’s public image, showing commitment to social responsibility, while offering positive media exposure and stronger connections with clients, partners, and employees who value community involvement.

Gifts and prizes

Gifts

Gifts are one of the ways we keep our charity running. Various items have been given to us in the past.

Prizes

We are always looking for prizes that can be given to our fundraisers of staff on Ward 3 as a little thank you.

Payroll giving

In payroll giving, every 80p becomes £1. As it is donated before tax, the government covers the additional 20p.

Payroll Giving, also known as Give As You Earn, is a UK program that allows employees to donate to charities directly from their pre-tax pay, making charitable giving simple and tax-efficient. Contributions are taken before tax is applied, meaning employees can donate more without it costing them extra. For example, a £10 donation costs a basic rate taxpayer only £8, with the government covering the difference.

For companies, Payroll Giving is a great way to support employees’ charitable efforts, enhance workplace morale, and strengthen corporate social responsibility. Some employers also match employee donations, amplifying the impact. Payroll Giving is straightforward to set up through a Payroll Giving Agency, and it’s a sustainable way for organisations and their employees to make a positive impact regularly.

To set up payroll giving in your company visit an approved Payroll giving agency such as Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), Payroll Giving in Action, and Give As You Earn.

Financial benefits of giving

Companies can receive tax relief on their charitable donations, deducting the amount donated from their profits before tax. This offers a tax-efficient way for businesses to support charities.
