Phil worked as an operations manager in the NHS for 25 years both at the RVI the Freeman hospital and as a manager covering estates operations for GP practices. During a shift he was called out in the middle of the night to repair equipment required to minimise pain for a little boy who had been burnt. This situation stayed with him, working first as an electrician then as a manager, it always gave him focus on the the support of vulnerable children. Phil now works as a photographer he says it is a privilege to maintain a connection and be able to provide support to the Bubble Foundation. Phil is also a very good friend of retired Ward 3 Charge Nurse, Neil.
