Louie was just 8 months old when he was admitted to hospital for his transplant.

After two months of care, he was discharged at 10 months old—a milestone that marked the beginning of his new life.

His mum, Rebecca, recalls:
"It was very intense and quite daunting at first, but we soon got used to the way of life for a few weeks. Louie and ourselves adapted to the environment, and the nurses and hospital staff were so friendly, supportive, and welcoming. There were highs and lows whilst on the unit, but we made friends with other parents, and it helped that we were all going through similar treatments."

Louie’s journey has been filled with challenges, but also incredible moments of strength and resilience.
